Our Trip to the Stardome

Today we spent a day in the life of Lonnie.

We had to get up at 6 in the morning. Before we went to school we all had chores to do.

First we had to walk to the well and collect water for the day.

Next we cleared away our bedding and swept the floor.

Then we dug up potatoes for lunch.

After that we pealed the potatoes and collected fire wood.

Then we set off for the long, long walk to school.  We had to be quick, we couldn't be late!

Brian and Bobby come to school

Today, Bobby and Brian came into school to talk to us about safety.  We talked about how to keep our stuff safe.

Our community police officers Rachel, Phil and  Wezley helped us learn why we need to know the serial numbers on our laptops, iPads and Play Stations.

Serial numbers are the long numbers on the back of televisions and phones.  They are really hard to remember. Keyo played a memory game with Bryan.

He had to remember the very long number on the back of the laptop, but we only could remember the numbers 001.

We need to keep the serial numbers safe incase we ever loose our valuables, then the Police can return them to us, when they find them.

Bobby and Brian, told us a good way to remember them is to write them all down.  They even gave us some forms to do that.

You can go to the

to download the form and enter your details safely on line.

You can find out about keeping safe at the Bryan and Bobby Web Page

      Did you know that
