Sculpture Competition

The children in Totara team have entered a competition to design and create a sculpture for the garden.

Over the next two weeks they will be working co-operatively to create 3 sculptures- one in each class.

The theme is "Creatures of the Forest."

Please ask your children about what they are doing and how they are progressing with their sculptures.

Once completed they will be taken up to the Botannical Gardens and will be put on display for you all to visit at the

Please enjoy the free family day and go along and see what your children, and those from other schools in the area, have created.

Give them your support and encouragement as we put into practice all we have learnt about geometry, shapes, sculpture and design.

We will post photos on our blog so you can see the progress and talk about it with us.
